We’ve had a great week of learning and connection at Emerald Heights, and there are a few important updates to share as we head into the weekend.

📅 Parent-Teacher Conferences
Parent-Teacher Conferences are coming up next week! This is a wonderful opportunity to connect with your child’s teacher and discuss their progress and goals.
Please make sure you’ve signed up for a conference time through your child’s teacher’s ParentSquare.
There will be no school on Thursday or Friday 10/23 & 10/24 next week to allow time for conferences.

📝 Impact Aid
Each year, Central Kitsap School District applies for federal Impact Aid funding. These funds help compensate CKSD for the loss of local tax dollars from tax-exempt federal property.
The results of our Impact Aid survey support our request for these funds, and completing it is critical to maintaining resources for our students.
Please complete this form as soon as possible by logging into the PowerSchool Parent Portal to access the online forms for your students.

We’re very fortunate to have free breakfast and lunch for all students this year. To help us continue this program in the future, families still need to complete the Free and Reduced Lunch Form each year.
