Dear Emerald Heights Families,
What a wonderful week it’s been! A huge thank you to our families and to our incredible PTA for such a successful fundraiser — and a big congratulations to our students for reaching our goal! 🎉 The Fun Run is next Friday, and we can’t wait to celebrate together. Great job, Hawks! 🦅
🎃 Trunk or Treat
Thank you to everyone who joined us for Trunk or Treat! We had an amazing turnout, and it was such a fun night for our students. We truly couldn’t do it without the creativity, generosity, and spirit of our families and volunteers.🍎 Free Meals Application
We are so close to reaching our goal for meal applications! This will qualify our school for free breakfast and lunch for all students for the next three years — at no cost to families or the district! If you haven’t filled out the form yet, please do it today at LINQConnect.com. It only takes a few minutes and makes a big difference for our entire school community.
If your household income has recently changed due to the government shutdown (or for any other reason), we encourage you to apply or reapply — even if you were previously denied, you may now qualify. Paper copies are also available in the school office.
📝 Impact Aid Forms
We are 74 families away from 100% completion! These forms help ensure our district receives important federal funding that directly supports students. Please complete the purple paper form sent home or log in to the Parent Portal to submit it online. Forms are due by Monday, November 4.
🗳 ASB Elections & Assembly
Next week, Wednesday, November 5th, we’ll hold our ASB assembly and student elections — we can’t wait to see who our new student leaders will be!🐾 Therapy Dogs Opt-Out
We are excited to continue our Therapy Dog program at Emerald Heights! Families who prefer that their child not participate may complete the Opt-Out Form.🎖️ Veterans Day
Looking ahead, there will be no school on Tuesday, November 11 in honor of Veterans Day.Please join us for our Veterans Day Concert on Monday, November 10 at 6:00 PM, featuring our 4th grade students. Students should arrive at 5:30 PM.
