Good afternoon, Emerald Heights families,
We had another wonderful week at school, and the year is truly flying by. Our students are in such great spirits—learning, growing, and bringing so much joy to our days. With just two weeks left of 2025, it’s hard to believe how quickly the months have gone by.

We also enjoyed a fantastic 3rd grade Holiday Concert this week! Thank you for your partnership in making it such a success!

Here are some updates for you: 

📚 Barnes & Noble Book Fair – Tonight!
Join us at Barnes & Noble Silverdale tonight from 4:00–7:00 p.m. for our annual Book Fair. A portion of purchases made during that time supports Emerald Heights. Come join the fun in person or shop online using our Book Fair ID: 12914248. We hope to see you there!

📦 Box Donations Needed
Our ASB is running a food drive next week and is looking for cardboard boxes to help sort donations. If you have any unused boxes to spare, please drop them off at the front office. Thank you so much for your support!

🎶 Choir Performances – Next Week!
Our EM Choir has a busy and exciting week ahead with three performances. We hope you’ll join us in cheering them on!

• Wednesday, December 10 – Choir Holiday School Performance, 6:00 p.m. (Performance at Cottonwood)
• Thursday, December 11 – Choir Holiday Evening Performance, 6:00 p.m. (Cottonwood choir at Emerald Heights)
• Friday, December 12 – Choir Performance at Kitsap Mall, 6:00 p.m.

We are so proud of our choir students and their hard work!

🍔 Red Robin Fundraiser – Every Thursday
Every Thursday (excluding holidays), Red Robin in Silverdale will donate 20% of food sales back to the Emerald Heights PTA when you mention our fundraiser!

🍟 McTakeover – January 14th, 5:00–7:00 p.m.
Our annual McDonald’s Takeover on Silverdale Way is happening on January 14th from 5–7 p.m. We are coordinating logistics, as this may become a sole 5th-grade camp fundraising event. More details to come soon.

📚 Bingo & Books – January 15th, 6:00–7:00 p.m.
Join us for a free, family-friendly Bingo & Books Night — the event we’ve been collecting book donations for! Enjoy a round of bingo, some popcorn, and choose a free book as a prize when you get bingo.
We would love to see you there!

📅 Next PTA Meeting – January 5th at 4:15 p.m.
Our next PTA meeting will be held in the school library on January 5th at 4:15 p.m. We have several budget items that require discussion and a vote. To proceed, we need a quorum of 10 PTA members. If you’re able, please consider attending — your voice matters!
